Elizabeth is an experienced and successful senior leader in the education and skills sector who specialises in policy, practice and funding. Her current role is Assistant Director for Education at a Local Authority in the South East, with responsibility for education strategy across early years, schools and post 16. This includes strategic leadership for sector-led improvement, employability and skills, inclusion, early years and special educational needs.
Elizabeth previously worked as a Director at the Learning and Skills Council where she had a broad portfolio of responsibilities for the performance and funding of further education colleges and post-16 training providers.
She is passionate about the delivery of high quality, public services that serve the needs of local communities and the economy.
